Re-upload capability
« on: January 15, 2006, 02:22:54 pm »

Hi,
An option in "Edit Image" to reupload an image, instead of deleting said image and then uploading again. Thereby preserving comments and image info.

Thanks for your time.

Why would you need this?  You could just overwrite the file in the folder.  Or do you want to make this feature available to others who upload?

Yes, thats exactly what I mean. I know that i can manually swap the image files in the albums folder of coppermine, but my users aren't able to. So yes, the main reason why I would like this feature is because my gallery is mainly a photography oriented site, thus sometimes images are critiqued based on their post processing . Thus, allowing users to reupload, as opposed to uploading a new file and deleting the original--along with all the comments, would make much more sense.
