Upgrade using Fantastico
« on: January 11, 2006, 12:45:21 pm »

I have just upgraded to 1.4.2 using Fantastico - which caused access rights problems noted in other posts - guest users not allowed and any attempt to change configuration did not work.  In an effort to resolve this I selected "Restore Factory Defaults" in the configuration mode.  Now my User ID and password is no longer recognised so I cannot get into Admin mode.  I assume the configuration utility has restored the default ID and password.  Does anyone know what these defaults would be?

Don't use Fantastico, it's buggy. Has been asked often, searching would have helped.

Have a look at this thread, I found it really useful.
