Admin Approval Of Registrations not Working
« on: January 08, 2006, 04:16:43 pm »

I have my coppermine gallery (1.4.2) set up to require admin activation of new registrations, but everytime I try to test register a new member it activates them automatically.  They can see and upload to the galleries, which i want to prevent until I say so. The admin email address gets an email with a link to activate.  When I click the link I get a  message that says "This account can't be activated"

Anyone know what the problem is?

upgrade to the most recent stable version cpg1.4.3 and report if this fixes your issues.

Looks like the upgrade solved the problem!  Thank you :)

The only thing I have to do is find the file that gives the message saying the account is now active right after they register.  It tells them it is active, but they can't log in until I activate it.    It is giving a false message at the moment.

Hmm... not sure what you mean. Can you post the actual message? Have you ensured lang/english.php is up-to-date?
