Soft Thumbnails
« on: January 04, 2006, 06:34:31 am »

Hey folks,

I've got thru a few problems so far, and have no wgot some images loading and working on my site. Thanks to the help I've received here so far. But I'm not happy with the quality of the thumbnails generated. I've got it set up to use GD2, but the thumbnails are soft. Is it possible to improve this? Or, is it possible for me to upload my own thumbnail versions and have them be displayed instead? When I Save any of my images as jpegs for the website, I also save a thumbnails. Could I upload those and have the coppermine program use those instead of generating the low quality thumbnails presently coming up?

Pages are at http://www.skolaiimages.com/galleries/index.php

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Carl

Yes, there is a section on custom thumbnails in the manual.
