contents of category on the start page - list view

I`ve been tryiing to find a way how to do this without success:
I`d like to have all albums from the "user galleries" (but not only this one) category visible on the start page. I` like to get something like a list view, without any thumbnails .
is there any chance to get something like this in coppermine?

there has been a hack for cpg1.3.x to accomplish what you're looking for. Search the mods board for it and try to get it working with cpg1.4.x

thanks, got a link to the mod? tried to find it and after almost an hour of searching I felt like hitting a wall ....
