Changing folder names
« on: December 29, 2005, 01:23:33 am »

I've searched through the forums and can't find anything about this topic.  When I first made my gallery, I put spaces in my folder names.  I would rather have no spaces, only underscores.  Is there a way to change the folder names to take out the spaces?

You could rename the folder names but you'd have to use a database admin like phpmyadmin to update the file paths of the pics.

Do you know where I could go to learn what phpmyadmin actually is, and how to use it?  I've never heard of that before.

Thanks.

The first place to ask is your host for what type of database tool they offer. Hosts that offer such a tool usually provide: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php

If your host doesn't have it, you'd need to install it.
