How do I stop a category appearing on the frontpage?

If it isn't a config option can some kind person point me to the file I need to hack to make the required changes.

if you mean random files, last uploded etc. got to config remove the category you require from 'album list view' section which should

have in the field breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/random/ just remove the one you don't want.
