Pic title and description running together in thumbnail view

Hi,
I'm creating my own customer theme, and so far, I've got everything just about right. However, I have an issue with the thumbnail view. When I click on a gallery and view my thumbnails, the title and description of the pic run together.

For example, say my picture has the following properties:

Title: Me at the Zoo
Description: This is a picture of me at the zoo.

The text under the thumbnail would appear this way:

Me at the ZooThis is a picture of me at the zoo.

Is there a way to fix this? Better yet, is there a way for me to just show the title?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks for the help!
