Using the Postcards as purchase request
« on: December 18, 2005, 06:12:22 pm »

Hello,

I'd like to adapt the postcards file to send to the photographer a purchase request by email. This would allow people that doesn't wanna pay online to send a request by email directly to the  Photographers.
It means:

Recipient email address= photographer's email address extracted from the use account
Recipient name = photographer's name  extracted from the use account
Does anybody have any idea on how to manage this.
Thanx

Try replicating the report to moderator feature/files.

netfalls,

You mean like the attached?  I modifed the report.php file on my site instead of the ecard file (since the ecard is good advertising).

change file from report.txt to report.php (back up your original report.php file first!) then copy into your coppermine directory overwriting report.php.

netfalls,

Do all users have access to sending file reports?  If not, that could explain the error.  Before going the next step... Look at my site:  http://www.artistsinhawaii.com/evj/ , click on one of the images and try the report file icon.  See if it's anything close to what you want to achieve.

From the docs:

Quote
Enable reports

Enable reports. When set to "yes," this feature will allow users to report on uploaded files or comments to the site admin.

This setting is dependant on e-cards being enabled. Only users who have permission to send e-cards in the 'groups' settings are able to send reports. The report icon is hidden from those not allowed to do so.
