Important Notice, i've tried and retried all of the Groups setting but every time only administrator can upload pics,  my coppermine:

in User mode or as i logged like a normal registered user when i try to upload pics appear this message:

 "Error
Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files"

maybe the cause is the integrationwith my forum (version is phpbb 2.0.18)?

I run into similar problem with previous version.
Make sure you log out a user by clicking on log out before trying to log in with your non admin users, and dont try to keep two sessions open in parallel from same ip.
That did it for me, seems like users got all messed up. Even thogh I used different browsers for each session/user type.
Please confirm if this helped you...

Normal users can't upload pics until they first create an album to upload pics into.  Just like admins cannot unless they create an album first.

The real difference is that normal users can only create albums in the user's category, while the admin can create albums everywhere.

If you want a user to be able to upload to a public album, you must specify so in the album's property page and also in in the groups permissions settings.
