« on: December 16, 2005, 09:59:19 pm »

I want to re-install my gallery.Because of the problems that is going on with it...
But i don't wanna lose the 139 Albums with tons of pictures ~= 7000 pics
But i think that it's only save the database? And if i save it...After i installed,How will i back the "old" tables?
Is there a program?Any software?

Please,help me...
And please if you'll come me saying to SEARCH please don't do it...Because i'll not seach, when search never gets the result.

Thanks!

why un-install, then re-install, then restore the database and the albums folder? What should be the point of that. Don't re-install, just re-upload all files from the coppermine package as if you were doing an upgrade.
If you insist on re-installing, you will have to backup the albums folder and everything within it and make a dump of your coppermine tables in the database. After re-installing, you will have to restore both. Like I said: will make no difference, and you'll need medium to good skills, e.g. using phpMyAdmin or similar. Judging from your previous postings and the skills you appear to have, I wouldn't recommend that.
