Hardwired Background
« on: December 06, 2005, 07:36:10 am »

Hi, i'm just curious to see if there is a way to change the background on the hardwired theme since it causes a few problems with people that have lcd monitors. Is there a way to change it to a black color or any other color to be exact?

Regards Joe.

Yes but where abouts do I change it to get rid of the little lines in the background and must make it a solid color?

edit http://yoursite.tld/your_coppermine_folder/themes/hardwired/images/hardwired.gif with an image editor (MS Paint is fine) to remove those lines, or edit http://yoursite.tld/your_coppermine_folder/themes/hardwired/style.css, find
Code: [Select]
body {
        font-family : Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: 10px;
        color : #AEAEAE;
        margin: 0px;
        background-color:#000000;
        background-image:url(images/hardwired.gif);
        background-repeat:repeat;
        }
and get rid of the background image by replacing it with
Code: [Select]
body {
        font-family : Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: 10px;
        color : #AEAEAE;
        margin: 0px;
        background-color:#000000;
        /*background-image:url(images/hardwired.gif);*/
        background-repeat:repeat;
        }
