Nibbler - I don't think I understand you fully. What picture? My search string 916-05 (an example) refers to a whole series of photos. All my photos are named i.e. 916-05-xxxx.jpg, so when I search for 916-05 I should get all the images from that photoshoot.

Just to explain my problem to avoid a misunderstanding and you are looking for the wrong answer!

Thanks again

I uploaded one of the files named 916-05-xxxx.jpg and it appeared when using the link you are using.

- Nibbler -
Ok! Weird - it still doesn't work for me ???

- Dennis -
I tried renewing the files, but the result are still the same.

My biggest problem now are the links from my website. Here is a link to my assignment page on my website http://www.boesenfoto.dk/seneste_opgaver.htm, which links to Coppermine searching by filenames. If you have time please have a look and see if the links works for you?

The special danish characters can wait  :-\

Thx in advance!

mboeson,

I can't say that it's a bug nor can I say it's not, as I will have to test this out further.  But it seems as if cpg isn't searching properly beyond the hyphen ( - ) as in 915-05.  I did discover, however, that if I replaced the hyphen with a space or %20, it searched for your pics successfully.

Hey there and happy new year!

I still haven't had any luck with my site. Actually it is even worse now, since I can't login anymore and I can't get my password emailed, since the database claims that I don't exist. Is there any way of resetting it all?

Secondly I have tried to install a clean version, but that won't work either  ??? I keep getting the following errors

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'stockit_admin@ws2.surf-town.net' (Using password: YES)

And I have checked the values again and again. Do you have any ideas?

You know what - nevermind. Don't waste your time anymore. I delete the fuc... database  >:( and hope to have more luck next time I try). I will probably give Coppermine another go, but please remind me to never upgrade or do anything to something that works already  :-\

Thanks to Dennis and Nibbler for your time. I am sorry that it didn't work out.
