Simplified access to CPG for webusers

Hi,
I'm new to CPG but have installed both 135 and 142 have a different set of images in both. I still get confused with Galleries,Albums and Categories.
So my post is:-


1) Is it possible to give web-users a simplified view of the images (and attached descriptions) to web-users?
I mean I know I link thru to say the slideshow
/cpg142/displayimage.php?album=1&pid=9&slideshow=5000

and to a particular album with

/cpg142/thumbnails.php?album=1

I seem to have answered my own questions.

But any other ideas/Suggestions?
