Language problems
« on: December 03, 2005, 06:06:07 pm »

I upgraded from coppermine 1.3.3 to 1.4.2 and the default language is now POLISH. Well, first of all when it is polish I can't go to config part of the coppermine, so I used other link http://www.ana-ivanovic.net/gallery/index.php?lang=english&theme=water_drop . This is quite problematic cause when i use normal link http://www.ana-ivanovic.net/gallery with cleared cookies it goes polish and when user registers it also goes polish. Is there any way to solve this problem? :(

I cleared my cookies and went to your site, but it's still English.  I registered, activated the account, and logged in.  It's still English.  By the way, you're missing some information in your config because the email I received to activate my account was blank for From: and said "The management of " for the signature (and blank after "thank you for registering at").

No, its not working. If you clear your cookies and go directly to http://www.ana-ivanovic.net/gallery/ it will be in Polish. When u use http://www.ana-ivanovic.net/gallery/index.php?lang=english&theme=water_drop  this link it is in english. Strange, strange...

It's in English to me. Before and after deleting the cookies.

Matija: I'm sorry, I have to disagree.  I *am* going directly to http://www.ana-ivanovic.net/gallery/, and it is English.  I cleared my cookies, I cleared everything (history & cache-related) in FireFox, and it's still English when I go to that URL.  I also tried in Internet Explorer.  Same thing: still English.

It detects the language from the browser.

Can the detection be blocked?

Comment out this line in include/init.inc.php

Code: [Select]
include('include/select_lang.inc.php');
That should do it.
