content block
« on: November 30, 2005, 04:53:24 pm »

i just opened a thread with three questions ( http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24396.0 ) but i did not know that only one question is allowed in a thread. so here i am posting my other question.

is it possible to include a content block in the index of the gallery? after searching the forum i get that there is a file named "anycontent.php". but i dont get how to include it in the index of the gallery. can you help me, please?

my cpg you'll find at www.sghabi2006.de/copgal/index.php and i use the version 1.4.2 (standalone). i you need more information please let it know me.

excuse my english, but i hope you can help me.

i hope i have understood some quotes right because of the english.

so if i have unterstood this right

Quote
Unless you really know what you are doing you should always keep catlist and alblist in "the content of the main page", as they make up the core parts of the index page or any gallery site, for that matter.

it means that i have to make some changes in index.php

after this quote

Quote
"catlist/alblist/random,2/lastup,2"

must this be the default value.

but i have not found this value in the index.php or is with the quote meant the code like "case 'catlist'"?

sorry about the questions and the bad english but i am really confused. am i right with the interpretation of the quotes?

Don't change any code, use the 'the content of the main page' settings on the config screen (admin.php).
