Problem with "pic_on_page" next to "tabbed display"

My problem is that my gallery does not show "%d files on %d page(s)" in my galleries :(
It does only display the links under the thumbnails.
e.g.: http://www.krissi-homepage.de/hasemann_gallery/thumbnails.php?album=99

related to your custom theme. Upload at least one of the regular themes that ship with coppermine to your themes folder and post which one you chose.

Well I have this Problem only using the "sample" theme which was the theme I started editing from.
