Bridging with joomla, linking to Deep-Category
« on: November 27, 2005, 03:35:18 am »

Hello community,  :)

i'm just trying to get CPG (in the older version 1.3.5) working under special conditions in the joomla-cms:

1.) I've to use a bridge to transfer the status of logged-in Users to CPG.
2.) And then I want to use a link in my menubar to link in an deeper Category of CPG (...complex strukture in CPG and the CMS!)

In the older version I found no solution. I can link cpg with the bridge (user-rights are transferred), but then i can't link to deeper categories (notation of the link?). Or I can user the wrapper-module to link directly to the URL, then I do not use the component an the rights will not be transferred...
I used the coppermine-bridge from "casnuy".

My question:
Is it possible to make a deeplink in cpg-categories with the correct function of the bridge wizzard of CPG 1.4.2 in combination with joomla...?  :o

Detailed step-by-step installation to integrate SMF and CPG into Joomla. Using the postnuke hack designed by Cas with Joomla is not a very bright idea and bound to fail. It wasn't designed to be used for this. I don't understand your actual question.
