Reorder pictures in albums?
« on: November 25, 2005, 08:27:39 pm »

In the new stable 1.4.2, can the admin reorder images within an album? (aside from the default by title and dates that is)  There was some discussion about this feature prior to the release of 1.4.2, but I didn't see any mention of it in the new features list or in the screenshots.

See the 'Sort my pictures' tab in your admin bar. It's mentioned in the documentation.

Yes, that's what the "sort my pictures" button in the admin menu is meant to be used for, see http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#ecard_log_end

Thanks for the replies. I hadn't actually installed the new version as I've got sorting (kinda) working in 1.3.5 -- wanted to know if the feature was in 1.4.2 prior to taking the time/resources to install. Sorry for the obvious question -- confusion was because I didn't see "Sort my pictures" in the top nav menu of the Documentation and Manual. Thanks for the link!
