Changing Text colour of input boxes

ok, i have tried several times to change the input text colour, and i have tried other things i have found here, but so far no luck.  I am useing the FIblack 3d Blue theme, and the imput box text is white, so you can't see what you are typeing.  Is there any Way i can change this?
