Organizing Albums
« on: October 28, 2005, 10:18:31 pm »

So I'm nearing 40 albums in 7 categories and it's counting every week, does anybody have any suggestions to make things a little less cluttered? maybe someone has had this problem before?

just for new people looking at the gallery, it seems like a lot of information to take at once.

I would set Show first level album thumbnails in categories to no - that will reduce the "clutter" on the first page.

that helped a bit, but it made the anycontent blocks much too dominant.
I guess I'll have to take a few off, might you have any other suggestions?

(possible only to show certain anycontent blocks on category pages and not album list pasges?)

It would be the best if you post a link to your site. I can't follow you cause there's only one anycontent block you can use

It would be the best if you post a link to your site.
Do as suggested please, it sucks having to look up your older postings in other threads or having to copy'n paste stuff manually and go through another site nav.

Very clean would look kegobeer's suggestion with an category image and only a 'last uploaded' block. And it loads fast

in category manager. However, you'll need an album directly within the category that holds pic(s). Please keep in mind that this is the "no support" thread!
