Site moved hosts - need to update connection info?
« on: October 24, 2005, 10:07:26 am »

Hi all,

I'm running CPG 1.3 with a phpBB bridge.

I've just moved to another hosting company and need to amend the configuration so that CPG knows to point to the right database - have amended phpBB no problem, so the forum now works.  Trouble is, the CPG install doesn't.

This is the error I get:

Code: [Select]
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user: 'mmcknight@localhost' (Using password: YES)

I've been in and amended the bridge file to the right details (login, password), however I can't track down where there is any other configuration file so that I can amend the username / password for the database?

Any ideas - it's not config.php in the gallery root, so I'm stumpted!

Thanks in advance,

Please do search board before posting, this question has been asked quite often.

Anyways edit include/config.inc.php to change the database details.

Thanks, and sorry for duplicating the question - I did search but wasn't sure of the best search term.

Anyway, fixed now :)

Thank you!
