not at all - it lies in the nature of the www that you can't. However, you can make it harder for newbies to steal your pics. Has been discussed in detail, use the search.

That is not possible.  If I visit your site, and see the image, I have a copy of it.  If you don't want people to have the images, don't put them on the internet.

One of the more popular topics on the mod boards is on watermarking images. The reason for this is that is it impossible to prevent downloading of images that are viewable online.  You can make it difficult for newbies, but not for anyone who as been around for some time.  All the tricks you use usually end up making your user's experience on your site less enjoyable.  So, unless you want an user unfriendly site, I'd suggest going with watermarking.
