sort order in an album
« on: October 04, 2005, 09:47:41 am »

after canvassing a whole lot of threads i still haven't found the right answer to my problem- i want to move the pictures into a different order without renaming them.
i saw a few hacks, but they were for older versions.
what is recommended for the not so savvy user? (means, someone who is likely to run the whole gallery into the ground if she modifies php by herself).
i am dreaming of a screen where you see the picture names and with arrows you move them individually up and down within the album...  is that so crazy?  ???

hah. i think i stay clear of the php autobahn here and wait until it is an official easy path in 1.4. if you say it is going to be in 1.4 i won't even ask the forbidden question of the big "WHEN".  lots of people want lots of features- and of course mine is most important to me...  seriously- i like the way you girls and guys approach every challenge, small or big!
THANK YOU!!!!  :-*
ps maybe after a few pinot noirs and a thorough back-up i might try...
