User Galleries Display options
« on: September 23, 2005, 08:01:32 pm »

Using coppermine 133 and we are really happy with it. One question and whilst I did a search nothing specific was returned.
We are using Hardwired theme with some customisation, the user galleries are shown as a link  with number of galleries and files etc on the main page below the main gallery thumbnails. How can we either move this link to above the Main galleries and preferably make the user galleries display as thumbnails on the main page as they do if you click on the user galleries link?

thanks in advanced apologies if this is answered elsewhere but I did look

1) The user gallery can not be displayed with a thumbnail representing it
2) The user gallery is just another gallery - use coppermine's category manager and use the arrow buttons there to move the user gallery up.

Thank you Ihave moved user galleries above main galleries as per 2 above - easy when you know how.

In regard to 1 above is there a hack or modification to have the user galleries displayed as albums as per main galleries rather than a category link??

thank you

I did search forums prior to original post and have as you suggested agin carried out a large number of searches the returned posts for these searches simply list a 'large' number of posts asking the exact same questions.  ::) "Does a mod exist and if so exactly where can one find it to enable the user galleries sub-category displayed by default as a link on the index page to be alternatively displayed as thumbnails?"

Since there clearly is a large number of users requesting assistance with this question perhaps someone would be so kind as to provide a definative answer either "NOPE" sorry or "YES" here is the mod thread. This would help those that have asked the question and those that will continue no doubt to ask the question.

Sorry if I missed something really obvious in doing the searches and I also read the manual (indicates how much a solution is wanted  :\'(LOL)
wanted.

Thank you again
