no error reporting
« on: September 17, 2005, 10:53:12 am »

if there is one thing i hate it is a program not doing its thing but giving no indication as to why, just like this one.
the install just refreshes itself and we go absolutely no-where with no indication as to what is wrong.
this thing sucks!!! ??? >:( >:( >:(

If there is one thing devs hate, then it is a user who
1) doesn't read the docs that come with the software
2) doesn't respect board rules (posting on a board that says "no support" instead of posting on the support board that corresponds to the version you use)
3) doesn't search the board before posting - there are many postings that deal with the issue you're having

The problem is probably related to your server setup anyway. Your report is not very helpful. If you're actually looking for support, review your attitude and reply to this thread, posting the necessary information to help you - a moderator will then move your posting accordingly. If you came here just to troll, then take this as token of our appreciation: <°)))o><

1) i followed the supplied docs to the letter
2) i dont believe i actually asked a question, users hate devs who dont read things properly
3) how do you know if i did or not? ???

If all you did was stop by to flame our product, by all means try another gallery application.  If you actually want support, post in the appropriate board.

thegent decided to post on an actual support thread: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=17095.msg99817#msg99817
Turns out his webserver is improperly configured (as expected PEBKAC instead of coppermin's error).
Locking this one, marking it accordingly.
