installation error
« on: December 03, 2003, 04:55:20 pm »

Phpnuke 6.9 RC1.3, new install.

Help! I am receiving the following errors.  My server is not running in safe mode.

upon invoking install.php, ther errors are:

Parse error: parse error in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/language/lang-english.php on line 125

upon running install.php, the following errors occured. Everything else succeeded.

Warning: fopen("include/config.inc.php", "w") - Permission denied in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/install.php on line 152

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/install.php on line 153

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/install.php on line 154

I searched for fclose and found help on a different error, so I am at a loss :?

chmod the include directory to 777 after install back

or use Coppermine RC4 or wait for the next release which has a lot of bugfixes.

I updated to RC4, reinstalled and that fixed the 1st problem, but I now have new problems.

http://hardwickfamily.com/html/modules.php?name=coppermine

and have a new error message in a nice little scroll box

While executing query "SELECT * FROM nuke_users, cpg_usergroups WHERE user_group_cp = group_id AND user_id='0'AND user_active_cp = 'YES' AND user_password = '*'" on 0

mySQL error: Unknown column 'user_group_cp' in 'where clause'

If I change the CHMOD of includes back to 644 (from 777) I get

Warning: Failed opening 'modules/coppermine/include/config.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='./:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/index.php on line 29

in the header

and this

Warning: Failed opening 'modules/coppermine/include/init.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='./:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/index.php on line 45

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: breadcrumb() in /home/hardwick/hardwickfamily-www/html/modules/coppermine/index.php on line 144
in the mainframe

any ideas?

Problem after adding Album
« Reply #5 on: December 04, 2003, 03:51:29 am »

I erased everything and reinstalled.  I'm a little farther, but there are still some errors.

RC4
phpnuke 6.9
www.hardwickfamily.com/html

After I add an album, It says Creating Album and then there is a button that says continue.  I click it and get garbage, hit the back button on my browser, and try again and it works.

It does this everytime I add a new album.

Any ideas?

that's a ob_ function bug.

IE and Opera could have problems with that.
Please wait for RC5
