Integration w. Punbb - Template Question
« on: August 28, 2005, 02:56:57 pm »

Hi All,

I installed Coppermine this morning and was extremely pleased to see you have Punbb Integration available  :-* I managed to integrate successfully but have a question regards the template. I made a new skin for my punbb and would like to have the coppermine gallery load within this new skin (at present it is just the default layout). Can someone give me pointers about how to do this? - Im not sure if I should be editing the coppermine template, punbb template, simply editing the punbb code  :-\\

This is how my board looks currently:

My Coppermine Gallery at present:

How I would like it to look (obviously would resize Coppermine to be same width though)

I hope someone can help me out as I'm a noob at php really, took me ages to mod the board :( To access the gallery I would have a link from the punbb menu that is visible to my registered users :)

Thanks,
Will

Coppermine can not use themes from other apps, it has a themeing engine of it's own. When bridging, you only link the two apps together in terms of user management, but not visually. This means: you'll have to come up with a coppermine theme that matches the look of the rest of your site. Review the demo, using the "choose a theme" dropdown. Pick the theme that matches your site most, download it (if it isn't already part of the coppermine core package) and start modifying it.
This has been asked before, please read the docs that come with coppermine and use the search before posting. Thanks
