display order of EXIF data
« on: August 26, 2005, 02:13:40 pm »

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature request.

I notice that the exif data are displayed according to the label's alfabetical order and are not grouped according to theirs meant.
changing the labels in the language file change the order of displayed data.

try this:
in exif manager enable view of all data
in english language file change the two lines above (1005 and 1006)
Code: [Select]
  'ExifImageWidth' => 'Exif Image Width', //cpg1.4
  'ExifImageHeight' => 'Exif Image Height', //cpg1.4
with
Code: [Select]
  'ExifImageWidth' => 'A Exif Image Width', //cpg1.4
  'ExifImageHeight' => 'Z Exif Image Height', //cpg1.4

select the english language for browsinf the gallery
then go to view a picture with exif data and see the information data. you will see the width of the picture at the top of exif data and the height at the bottom.

valid suggestion imo, not sure though if it will make it into the release, as the language file mustn't be changed any longer for cpg1.4.x - maybe this has to be tagged as "known issue" and will be addressed in cpg1.5.x.
