Hi,

it's probably been requested already but wanted to make sure ;)

So the basic idea would be to let registered users manage their own categories inside their personnal (user) gallery..

I'm playing with 1.4.1 beta at the moment and it doesn't seem to support categories for registered users uploading in their own gallery..

having only albums on a single level inside the user galleries won't let your users really manage their galleries..

An alternative to that would be to have some kind of super users group (not administrators) that would have the right to manage a single category branch from the root category, and be able to create sub categories and albums inside that branch only..

Hope that's not impossible, would be a great addition to cpg..
thx

no, nothing wrong with it except that is has been requested several times in the past already, that's why no dev posts a reply - we expect that users search before posting. You have to understand what the feature requests board is meant for: requests for features in future versions of coppermine. There's no support to be found on the feature requests board. There's no need to start a similar request on the actual support board though: with the current coppermine code, this is not possible.
