Weird EXIF data display

I uploaded some pictures yesterday, ziped, used webmin file manager, they contain EXIF data but it's not displayed. Uploaded some more today using plain old FTP, no problem. All pics converted from RAW with C1Pro 3.7.1 Ay ideas why the difference? Any way to get that data displayed?
thanx

Do I understand this correctly: using FTP, the exif data displays fine, but using some other tool (that I'm not familiar with), the exif data doesn't show? Easy answer then: don't use that other tool ;)! There are several tools around that strip the exif meta data from jpeg files, however this is not related to coppermine.
If this is not what you were trying to say, please post a deep link to a coppermine page that embedds a file that is suppossed to have exif data, but doesn't display it.
