thumbnail pic for outside video

It's probably belongs to mod area but can't post a topic yet...

I would like to ad thumbnails to video files added from outside uri/url  (instead of deafault wmv,avi,mpg etc thumbpic) ..       

Is there a solution for this?

Any help appreciated!

your question does not belong to the mods section, as only actual mods go there, but not mod requests.
You can not have thumbnails stored on remote servers, but you can have custom thumbnails for videos, read the documentation  and the sticky thread about custom thumbnails

So, what about video outside the gallery?
Say I host my video on a host different than the one coppermine is installed on?
