Integration with Mambo - and stripping
« on: August 09, 2005, 01:54:40 pm »

Hi

I'm making a new homepage in Mambo for my company (companies), and I'm planning on integrating Mambo for product pic galleries. The manual bridging of CPG 1.3 and Mambo seems bothersome, but doable. Maybe I'll take a shot at 1.4, but I'm not sure yet. I'd love to see some live demos of Mambo integrations, and advice on using 1.4 - does the bridging work?

Actually, CPG can do much more than I really need. I want a photo gallery that works in safe_mode=on, looks nice, and is easy to administer, and that kind of narrows it down :). But I'd like to strip down CPG to the bare essensials: Showing pics, maybe a minimal pic-browser to be inserted into content pages. Is there an easy way to do that? Is it just a matter of stripping a template? Or is there more to it than that? Or is there maybe some cool app around to do that already?

Thanks in advance. And Hi again :)
