I have searched out similar post on this topic but none address my problem exactly.

Coppermine cannot access the database.  The table "cpg_pictures.MYI' needs to be repaired.

I tried SQL Repair Query on the table under phpMyAdmin but MySQL said:

#1016 - Can't Open File: 'cpg_pictures.MYI". (errno: 138)

-- So basically this table is "in use"  Has anyone been down this road.

I have emailed my host for support related to Cpanel and their SQL implementation, but if anyone here can help, I would be greatful

it appears you haven't search hard enough - here's a sticky thread for you: Typical Error: Can't open file: 'cpg131_pictures.MYI'. (errno: 145)
