Menu on Side
« on: August 16, 2005, 06:37:35 pm »

Hi.
Is it possible to have my site's menu bar placed down the side of the page of my gallery, if so how can I do it.
I do not use frames, my main layout (for the rest of the site not inc Gallery) is just made with CSS and inculudes.
My menu is an .asp file though I can change that to a .txt if need be.
Thanks in advance,

sure, just modify themes/yourtheme/template.html - it's all plain html stuff. Take a look at the demo, using the "choose a theme" dropdown selector - there are themes with a menu on the side of the gallery's content.

Thanks very much. Only one problem that I have here though, the menu does not seem to be appearing, however, it does if I remove the ASP/SSI include and replace it with some standard text.
Can I rename template.html to template.shtml or template.asp?

Follow the instructions for a custom header/footer in the documentation. Changing the name of the template.html will not do anything.
