Install error: mySQL Error: Column count doesn't match value
« on: November 29, 2003, 09:19:28 pm »

I am doing a new install of Coppermine into a test PHPNuke site...

I uploaded the files (1.2RC4) to the server.
Changed directory permissions of main dir albums and the sub userpics
Ran install.php and select cpg_ as the table prefex.  Near the end of the list of tables, etc... I get the red dot on the bolded table below:

Quote
CREATE TABLE cpg_usergroups ( group_id int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, group_name varchar(255) NOT NULL default '', group_quota int(11) NOT NULL default '0', has_admin_access tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', can_rate_pictures tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', can_send_ecards tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', can_post_comments tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', can_upload_pictures tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', can_create_albums tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '0', pub_upl_need_approval tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '1', priv_upl_need_approval tinyint(4) NOT NULL default '1', PRIMARY KEY (group_id) ) TYPE=MyISAM
INSERT INTO cpg_usergroups VALUES (1, 'Administrators', 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0)
INSERT INTO cpg_usergroups VALUES (2, 'Registered', 1024, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0)
INSERT INTO cpg_usergroups VALUES (3, 'Anonymous', 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1)
INSERT INTO cpg_usergroups VALUES (4, 'Banned', 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1)
CREATE TABLE cpg_votes ( pic_id mediumint(9) NOT NULL default '0', user_md5_id varchar(32) NOT NULL default '', vote_time int(11) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (pic_id,user_md5_id) ) TYPE=MyISAM
mySQL Error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
CREATE TABLE `cpg_installs` (`cpg_id` TINYINT (3) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `dirname` VARCHAR (20) NOT NULL, `prefix` VARCHAR (10) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY(`cpg_id`))
INSERT INTO `cpg_installs` VALUES(NULL, 'coppermine', 'cpg_')
When everything is correct please go to your Coppermine config screen

I can continue:

When I do so I get the configuration page where I can change the values.  Funny thing is, at the bottom of the page instead of getting all of the buttons I am getting the save configuration button followed by the <input tag.

hi i've just removed RC$ from my server and gone back to 1.1D.
using nuk 6.9 i got this problem all over the place..pages not fully loading..
not sure whats causing it but i suspect its nuke6.9 and RC4 mix not liking each other. (think i had the same errors on the install page not sure).
will wait for you to fix the main bugs being highlighted and try a fresh install.

BTW thanks for all the works you guys on Dev are doing..best gallery out there IMHO

Nuke Version 6.9
« Reply #4 on: November 29, 2003, 11:34:06 pm »

This is being installed on a 6.9 version of NUKE.

1and1.com is the host.

mySQL version is 3.23.49

PHP Version is 4.2.3

Linux

Another interesting thing about this install is that in the debug information it doesn't seem to recognize the GD libraries.  I know they are installed and in my phpinfo() I have the following information:  GD support is enabled version is 1.6.2 or higher with freetype enabled, gif read, gif create, jpg support, png support and wbmp support all enabled.

I haven't had much luck getting ImageMagick to run.  I've tried installing the Linus binary and it seems to not be able to find a library it needs.

The reason you don't see the GD library in your debug is that a version of GD 1.8 is required for working with jpg's and when you install make sure both jpeg and png are activated also

Any Suggestion on ImageMagic on the 1and1.com host then?`
« Reply #6 on: November 30, 2003, 01:45:00 am »

My GD is not 2.0 it is 1.6 or 8 something.

As I mentioned I attempted to install the binary distribution of ImageMagick.  I downloaded it, and installed it into MY root directory.

Since 1and1.com gives me SSH access I then modified my path to includ the path of the ImageMagick lib folder...  Every time it would attempt to use IM it would give an error message related to some supporting library that could not be found.

1and1.com is doing a 3 years free promotion with 500MB of space.  I would really like to try to make it work with their hosting if I could.

I didn't see the bug fix for IE... where is it posted?

Also,  any idea on what the original issue with the mySQL error might be about?  Am I safe to continue even though the failure occurred?

I will be asking my host to install ImageMagick... Not sure if they will but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You can continue if that's the only mysql failure.
It only automatically add Coppermine to your modules list.

But actualy this means your phpNuke 6.9 database is corrupted/altered.
I made the installer that way it works on all phpNuke and postNuke versions so your nuke_modules table isn't compliant to phpNuke 6.9.
