Adding buttons to the theme
« on: July 29, 2005, 08:08:18 am »

Hi people,

I don't really know where to post this because it's v1.4  :\'( and I've read everything here, but it doesn't help the problem I have.

I just need some hints, and support on the SUB_SYS, SUB menus... to add 'Button.gif's' to ONE theme. "Sample"...

So it's a theme question, rather than a support question... I hope ?.

With the advent of the Bridging Wizard, some like myself will want to skin Coppermine to match the forum colors... Which is what I've been doing.

And I'm trying to get something like this --->

http://www.ozidownunder.com/coppermine/themes/sample/template2.htm

to work with this -->

http://www.ozidownunder.com/coppermine/index.php

So that it will compliment this, by using the same background, foreground and buttons etc. -->

http://ozidownunder.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?

I have played with this section of the theme (I'm using "Sample")  -->

HTML template for template sys_menu buttons etc......

Until I'm blue in the face ???

I'm absolutely lost an how to add the buttons to the Sub-Sys, Sub and Admin menu, so that when the menu changes, it automatically parses the correct function buttons.

Any help would be more than appreciated....

cpg1.4.1 goes unsupported, which means: either you're able to find out for yourself how it works, or it is not meant for you. That's all. That's what "unsupported" means. Call it a "theme request" or "support request", it doesn't matter.
