eyeball: troubles with internet explorer
« on: July 28, 2005, 01:33:52 am »

Hi!

At first, sorrry for my bad english.
And thanks a lot for this great Gallery.

I made some changes to the eyeball theme and it looks just fine in firefox.
But the Internet Explorer messes something up.
My Gallery: http://web74.srv8.mw-internet.net/gallery/index.php?theme=yoball

I guess its something with my CSS, maybe a conflict or so.
But I have no idea how to find out what the Problem is.
Can someone please help me?

Sorry for the inconvenience.
It's a bug in the IE Boxmodel.

I just added
Code: [Select]
* html #page table{ width:75%;}
* html #page table table{ width:100%;}
to my style.css and it works.

Not perfect but good enough for the moment.

I have a serious internet explorer problem too and people can't even use the login button. My theme is based on Reynold. I wonder if my only answer is to put the nav bar across the top of the page. Can anyone help with a fix. At present boxes overlap everywhere (on PC IE) and on Mac IE, the nav buttons slip to the top of the page and the top ones cannot be used. See www.stockshoots.co.uk for a preview in pc and IE.

I am really desperate about this as I just don't know what to do and find css fixes daunting and don't know where to begin. If I don't find a solution I will have to abandon this site and start again, so can anyone help me at all?

Thanks
