Organizing albums
« on: July 19, 2005, 04:10:50 pm »

Hello,
I have just installed coppermine RH9/SQL/PHP 5/apache 2 etc...

1. I created two users, laura and mark, who both went on a trip with me.
2. Used coppermine to thumbnail and create albums under each of their usernames
3. This created the following structure
Home --> User Galleries --> Mark -> album1, album2, blah blah
Home --> User Galleries --> Laura -> album1, album2, blah blah

4. What I want to do, after some rethinking, is make the structure like so...
Home --> Our Trip --> Mark
Home --> Our Trip --> Laura

I can't seem to move the albums from inside one category to a different category.  Basically, it seems that once an album is in a category, it is stuck there.  Is this true or is there a way to move it?  Even if there is a mysql-type fix that someone has I can run it, I'd be down for that.  Let me know.

Thanks,
Adam

You can't move albums out of the user galleries section, albums there are fundametally different to regular albums.

F! Okay.  Thanks for the prompt response, I guess I'll just have to delete those albums and recreate them.

Have a good one.
