problem with width of tables after uploading
« on: July 17, 2005, 08:53:15 pm »

I changed the colors of the classic layout and everything is okay with the tables. But after I uploaded some pictures the tables are very wide. I did not change anything about the size of the tables so I don't know why this problem happened.. Here is a cap:
http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/1720/tables3pd.jpg There you can see that it's very wide and almost impossible to navigate or do something.
Sorry if this topic has already been discussed but I didn't find it anywhere.

Thanks!

Direct link to a "wide" table page.  Please explain exactly where and when you get these "wide" tables.

Also post a test user/password.

I uploaded a test image, no wide tables.  However, admin approval is on, so I can't see any more of the upload process.  Turn admin approval off so I can test further.

You should also never edit the classic theme.  Make a copy of the theme and do your modifications to that one.

Still no wide tables.  I do see that your smilies aren't being found though.  Broken images for all your smilies.

Post a direct link (yoursite.com/albums/...) to an image that gave you a wide table.

I don't know how to say it. It's not a certain pic but all pics. When I upload them there comes a page where I have to put the pic into an album. And that's the page where everything is too wide.
Here's another cap:
http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/5360/table21dp.jpg
You can see that it only shows half of the whole page. But shouldn't it all suit on the page without scrolling to the left??

You need to allow multiple uploads for the test user so I can see an example.

I have absolutely no problems with Opera or Firefox.  Everything displays correctly for me; I can't replicate your problem.

I recommend clearing your brower's cache, deleting cookies for your site, and doing a forced refresh of your pages.

You also need to change the colors for the text displayed after a successful upload - it's black on black.
