[Newbie] How to install pnCPG ?
« on: July 14, 2005, 07:07:46 pm »

Hello,
I'm a newbie in Postnuke and Coppermine
I found that gallery very nice some time ago and was expecting a version running under Postnuke
I downloaded the mod and don't know how to install it
Is it a complete MOD that I can just put under the "modules" folder of Postnuke or do I have to put the files in the wright directories ?
Do I need to install a standalone Coppermine on my site before ?
If anyone can give any indication about the installation, this would be great
Thank you

1. Everything is described in documents, including in pnCPG>>pndocs directory. I sugest you to read easy_readme.txt file (and others too) before instalation.

2. pnCPG is a typical module for Post-Nuke/MDPro. Everything [except iframe_SSI.html (pnCPG>>pndocs>>iframe_SSI.html) and index_pn.php (pnCPG>>Coppermine>>index_pn.php)] should be placed in modules directory (your_root>>modules>>pnCPG).

3. Before starting module you should install CPG gallery first - it's described in readme files.

4. The newest version of MDPro works good with pnCPG without tricks, described in TIPS.txt file.
