error

Directory 'albums/screencaps/chapter1/' is not writable, files can't be deleted


what do i do?

Make it writable. Use your FTP client to chmod the dir to 777 or 755

Sorted. Remember not to interfere with batch added files with your FTP client.

The deletion code doesn't check it facts properly. It throws out the perms error even if the folder does not exist. If you delete things via FTP then you need to replace the folders (ie upload an empty folder of the same name) which coppermine then happily deletes.
