Testing "user" functions I created a maze of albums and functions which I'd love to get rid of- but I get an error message when I try to delete myself as a user, and just work from the administrator function to avoid complexity (=chaos)
It would already help me if I could hide this redundant album on the main gallery page.
I cannot believe I got myself into this mess...

Create a new user, make them an admin, and then use it to delete the original admin.

  Do  read this right-
Status- I have admin and me, renata as user thus two identities that unfortunately BOTH have structures on my gallery
In order to have only one identity I do the following
1. Create a completely new identity, call it "luke"
2. make luke an administrator
3. Then luke erases the administrator that I am (actually- how??)
4. and simultaneously with that, my useridentity renatab?
Sorry if this sounds a bit thick- but both the mediterranean sun and the maze I created have an effect on me. thanks for your superfast reply!

I don't understand. What's stopping you (as admin) simply deleting the user renatab ?

That is the start of my problem-  when I try to do that it loks as if I was successful- then I get an errormessage that tells me that I do not have the necessary permissions to do that, and I haven't figured out where to set permssions differently in my admin-status.. needless to say, my luke-identity that I have set up by now is also undeletable.. a-maze-ing...

actually, I managed to delete the latest identity by taking away "his" administrator status.
it seems that the one that i want to get rid of cannot be deleted- as it is really "me", where I'd prefer not to see myself as a user on the first screen- sorry to bother you with this, but I really HATe anything that is more complex than the one-level presence I have on that gallery...

What is the exact error message that you are getting ?
