Help with a custom theme
« on: June 18, 2005, 03:32:23 am »

hi !

i am trying to match the look of this gallery to this site.  i have opened the template in the classic directory and tried all i could but to no avail.  i searched across the board for some guideance, and although many topics were close, none were this specific.  i want to remove the 'footer' include from the regular page template on the site, and then 'tuck' the photo gallery into it under the header and to the right of the nav links.  suggestions ?

http://www.jvfd.org/home.php  is the site

http://jvfd.org/gallery/  is the gallery

thanks in advance for ya'lls patience

What do you mean footer include? From the Classic template? And move cpg where?

well, when i built the template for the website as a whole, i used a header include and footer include.  i am using template too much, i think thats why it's confusing.  the site has a 'C' shape to it with the top and the left being in the header and the bottom being in the footer.  i wanted to remove the footer from my original design and leave just the header from my original design.  then i wanted to tuck the photo board 'into' that 'C' shape; so that the original nav links were still there.  does that help ?  (i'm kinda confusing myself now that you mention it)....

Ahh...

I missed the fact that your home page is php  :P

I don't know php, but from what I've read on the board:

So back at ya, can't you just cut that part of the theme.html code that you need and replace your footer with it?
