Fatal error - error while processing a database query

I have just installed the script, everything seemed to be working fine, then this error occured when changing templates:

Notice: Undefined index: debug_mode in /home/fhlinux201/g/gallery.purplexstitch.co.uk/user/htdocs/albums/include/functions.inc.php on line 96
Fatal error :
There was an error while processing a database query

Help?! Please :)

Have you searched the forums for undefined index debug_mode?

Thanks - no idea what happened, but after reading your response, and checking my manua to see what debug mode wasl, it seems to be working for the time being ;)

I will get there, I'm one of those people who just has to try and run before they can walk!!
