Please take a look
http://www.x360fans.com/displayimage.php?album=5&pos=2

The Link's test and Backgroung color are almost the same, can anyone suggest how to make that change?

I want the text to stand out clearly.

Thank you

You have a background color the exact same as the text/hyperlink color in your css, perhaps a clash between .imageborder and div#galleryMenu.  Look for 9F5FBE.

I was using a very small image which I wanted to turn it into a custom thumbnail (using your Irfanview tutorial ), that wast why it looked all stretched out and pixelated.
I went back to the original image and without using Irfanview to converted to Thumbnail, I just rename the image thumb_whatever and upload it, it looks fine now... :-[

Thank you

Can a Thumb_image be displayed above the caption "Click to view movie"
« Reply #6 on: June 13, 2005, 04:41:49 am »

And yet another question:

See this link first

http://www.x360fans.com/displayimage.php?album=5&pos=2
Can a Thumb_image be displayed above the caption "Click to view movie"
So it shows which item has been actually selected?

Thanks

This thread is about text color, not stretched out thumbs.  That's a different thread.  What did you do to fix your text color problem?

http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=18817.0 told me to move the posting, so I did.
Could you please tell me in what subforum can I post my question:

"Can a Thumb_image be displayed above the caption "Click to view movie"

Thank you in advance.

I have not seen any posts about what stylesheet modifications you did to fix your text color issue.  I don't think anyone split and moved your response.  What did you do to fix the color problem?

Like I said in my reply to your thumbnail question post, you need to reply on the thread that deals with the download link mod.

Kegobeer: The answer about what I did is in this thread, please see above, a couple of messages up, but here is a copy and paste of it:

"I was using a very small image which I wanted to turn it into a custom thumbnail (using your Irfanview tutorial ), that wast why it looked all stretched out and pixelated.
I went back to the original image and without using Irfanview to converted to Thumbnail, I just rename the image thumb_whatever and upload it, it looks fine now... Embarrassed"

Thank you.

Ok.  One last time with this.  Your first post:

Please take a look

The Link's test and Backgroung color are almost the same, can anyone suggest how to make that change?

Thank you

The thread that you made about your two stretched out and pixelated thumbnails:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=18808.msg86678

Quote
Left thumb shows as expected, but the two on the right when you click on it, stretche into a larger images showing the thumb with bad resolution.

http://www.x360fans.com/thumbnails.php?album=10

I have been able to get custom thumbs with no problem, but this two puzzle me.
Can you please suggest a solution?

I have done these 2 Thumbs uploads 3 times and I still get the same bad results.

In this thread, your reply to my question about what you did to fix the text color:

Quote
"I was using a very small image which I wanted to turn it into a custom thumbnail (using your Irfanview tutorial ), that wast why it looked all stretched out and pixelated.

Just so I understand this.  You are saying that the reason your text color and background color were the same is because you had pixelated original thumbnails?  And once you fixed your thumbnails, the text and background colors are now ok?  It seems to me that your reply belongs in the thumbnail thread, and not this thread.

That answer is also in this thread, and i did as suggested by you:

"You have a background color the exact same as the text/hyperlink color in your css, perhaps a clash between .imageborder and div#galleryMenu.  Look for 9F5FBE"

So this what I did:

In the CSS of the theme that I am currently using, and did a search as suggested by you for "Look for 9F5FBE"
I replaced the color of the text to a contrasting color, using the hex color value of the new color, so now it could be clearly viewed.

Thank you again
