Watermarking (with Imagemagick) ???

Any1 have a good solution to watermark an image using imagemagick?  I've read some stuff, but it seems that there are problems with CPU use/etc..   I wouldn't mind running some sort of batch on a cron, but I was wondering if anyone had a good solutions.
