Batch add files on non admin users?
« on: May 20, 2005, 10:55:01 am »

Hi,

I am running a closed gallery, meaning that it will not be open for public registration. There will be 19 photographeres who will use the gallery and further additions of photographers will be done by me. I would like the 19 photogs to have batch upload access because I will be giving them each FTP usernames and passwords and I have configured my webserver to allow them only to view certain directories.

Is it possible for me to give them batch upload privileges without making them admins? If it is, can anyone tell me how?

Thank you very much.

Nope.  Batch add is reserved for the gallery admin.  If 10 web uploads aren't enough, there's always the XP Publish utility, and I believe there are people attempting to modify the Gallery java applet.
