I use fantastico to install cpg on my site. I find it very easy to install with fantastico, so I was wondering when fantastico ppl will upgrade it. Any idea, how it works with fantastico. Should I ask my host to upgrade my CPanel or fantastico.

Or should I try to install cpg 1.3.3 on my own without waiting for fantastico.

I posted in the Fantastico forums about the update but I don't know when they will do it. The dev team recommends manual upgrades/installations.

the coppermine versions that came with fantastico in the past always differed slighty from the "original" coppermine versions that are available here at coppermine.sf.net, which used to cause problems for some users sooner or later, that's why we (the coppermine dev team) recommend using the original package from this site instead of any auto-installers.
