Making gallery offline
« on: May 13, 2005, 02:21:14 pm »

I know that in order to make the gallery offline I click the yes option next to that setting in the config. I tried this several times but I still can't get it to appear offline. I made sure I logged out and logged in as a user not admin but the gallery still works. When I go into config again it has the no option selected not the yes option I chose. Can someone please help?

In the browser address bar, at the end of your gallery URL, add update.php and press enter to update the database. Then try going offline again.

make sure to run an up-to-date version of coppermine (the current stable release is cpg1.3.3). Older versions contained a bug that kept you from setting the gallery offline.
